The slogan green and hybrid cars is rampant these days with people belching impotent misinformed slogans because people really have nothing else to do but belch impotent misinformed slogans and the hybrid and hydrogen vehicles are looked upon as the means to save this dear planet of ours.  I don’t have any desire to talk about global warming or add to the excessive talk and gibberish that is constipated as all hell and seems like it is rather going to explode all over the place from swollen bowls before something is actually decided upon and action taken.  I simply want to dispel the myth that hybrids and hydrogen cars are a “clean” alternative to gasoline powered cars.  By buying and using a hybrid or hydrogen powered car, the green house emission signature is simply being transferred to the power plants that make the electricity to power the car or the power plants use energy to perform hydrolysis on water to make hydrogen.  And for the most part power plants are powered by coal which is not a green energy.  So in reality, although the cars produce lower or no green house emissions, the power plants that make the energy to power them do.   So for all the green nerds out there who think they are doing the place a favor by buying a hybrid or hydrogen car, please think again and stop being idiots touting green cars as if it was some kind of solution to whatever problems you might have.
